Dr. Saeid Pourroostaei Ardakani is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London. He also serves as an Academic Fellow at Queen Mary's Digital Environment Research Institute and Member of the Centre for Networks, Communications and Systems. Additionally, he is a member of the IEEE Technical Community on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence and a SPRITE+ Expert Fellow. Saeid received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Bath and has since held academic positions at the University of Lincoln, the University of Nottingham (Ningbo Campus), and ATU. His previous research affiliations include serving as a core member of the AVAIL and MLearn Research Groups, and an associated academic member of the Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems at the University of Lincoln. He was also a founding member of the Next Generation Internet of Everything (NGIoE) Laboratory and an active member of the Artificial Intelligence Optimisation Research Group at the University of Nottingham (Ningbo). Dr. Pourroostaei Ardakani's scholarly work is situated at the intersection of Applied AI and advanced large-scale data processing technologies, with a specific focus on architecting smart, adaptive and trustworthy computing and communication solutions for IoT and cloud-based ecosystems. To date, he has published four academic books and over 120 scholarly articles in high-impact international journals and peer-reviewed conference proceedings.
